Approving a plumbing repair should not feel like a gamble. We are confident in the repairs we quote, and we stand behind that. If we agree on a specific repair and we are unable to complete that repair during that same job for reasons within our control, you do not pay the labour for that repair.

In simple terms, you are not taking on the risk of paying labour for a repair we could not complete ourselves. That risk sits with us. The call-out fee, any approved diagnostic work, materials, and other authorised work always remain payable.

Once a repair has been successfully completed, it is covered separately under our 12-month workmanship warranty.

If we quote a specific repair, you approve it, and we are unable to complete that repair during that same job for reasons within our control, the labour for that repair is not charged.

When No Fix, No Fee Can Protect You

  • The work is residential plumbing service.
  • A specific fixed-price repair has been quoted and approved.
  • The repair is attempted during that same job.
  • The repair cannot be completed for reasons within our control.

Clear Boundaries Around No Fix, No Fee

No Fix, No Fee is a labour-only protection on certain clearly defined quoted repairs. It does not replace the call-out fee, approved diagnostic work, materials, or the wider terms that apply if conditions change once work begins.

  • The call-out fee.
  • Any approved diagnostic work.
  • Materials, supplied items, or special-order parts.
  • Other authorised work completed during that same job.
  • Jobs where no specific repair has been quoted and approved.
  • Completed repairs, which are handled separately under our 12-month workmanship warranty.

If we uncover a hidden defect, pre-existing issue, access problem, system limitation, parts issue, or any other condition that changes the scope of the work, the full rules in our Terms and Conditions apply.

What Happens Once the Repair Is Completed

No Fix, No Fee applies only before a quoted repair has been successfully completed. Once we do complete that repair, the protection shifts to our 12-month workmanship warranty, which covers the specific work we completed.

Common Questions About No Fix, No Fee

Do I still pay the call-out fee?
Yes. The call-out fee always applies. No Fix, No Fee only affects the labour for a specific quoted repair if we are unable to complete that repair during that same job for reasons within our control.
Does No Fix, No Fee apply to diagnostic work?
No. Diagnostic work is separate from a clearly defined quoted repair. If diagnostic work has been approved, it remains payable whether or not a later repair goes ahead.
What if the repair turns out to be bigger than first expected?
If we find that the issue is part of a larger problem, or that the scope has changed, we will stop, explain what we found, and give you your options. No Fix, No Fee applies only to the specific repair that was originally quoted and approved.
What if the repair is completed but something later goes wrong?
Once a repair has been successfully completed, No Fix, No Fee no longer applies. At that point, the specific completed work is covered separately under our 12-month workmanship warranty, subject to our terms and conditions.
Does No Fix, No Fee apply to every plumbing job?
No. It applies only to certain clearly defined repairs that are quoted and approved before work begins. It does not apply to every visit, every type of plumbing work, or every situation.
